Warcraft 3 Version Switcher is a free and easy to use tool which allows fast patching (from any version to any version) of the Warcraft version on your computer.

Download the Warcraft 3 Version Switcher (without patches - about 729Kb) from one of the following mirrors: Mirror 1 or Mirror 2

After download, unzip the WVS (Warcraft Version Switcher) to any folder. WVS searches for the path where Warcraft3 is present on you harddisk. In case it is unable to locate it, you have the option of manually locating the War3.exe file for further setup. Once the file is located, the setup is complete. Next in order to switch versions, you need to have the set of patch files corresponding to each version of Warcraft3 you wish to switch to. Get the patch files for the four versions from here.

After downloading the patch files (zip), move them into the folder in which WVS is located. Now you can switch version easily by selecting the 'Switch Version' option on the main window as shown below: (Click to enlarge)



Alternately, you can also get the Torrent file here and use your favorite torrent-downloader like BITtorrent/uTorrent/Azureus etc to get the whole package which includes the WVS software and patches of version 1.20, 1.21, 1.22 and 1.23 (120Mb)! Just unzip and enjoy :)
